GREEN DESIGN
Clarice Annegers has her LEED Accreditation from the U.S. Green Business Council. The EPA estimates that most people in the United States spend approximately 90% of their time indoors, so we select safe furnishings and finishes for your home or business. We recommend low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) options because high VOC furniture and finishes are composed of chemicals that off-gas into the air and have harmful long-term health effects. We also advise clients on organic mattresses, non toxic furniture materials and all natural fibers for carpeting, upholstery and window treatments. We also strive to create a comfortable acoustic environment. We facilitate the use of energy saving solutions such as solar panels, efficient lighting and greywater design.
